The Story Behind Exit To Albania 🇦🇱
I’m Natalie, your friendly guide and an American who spent 9 years living in 7 countries before ending up in Albania.
On my first visit here in 2023, I took a 2 month solo road trip around Albania and discovered how gorgeous it was. Sunny, free, wild, and raw. Some small villages felt frozen in the old world, while other were developing at lightning speed. Quite the contrast!
I’ve spent the last 14 years as a UX designer and content creator, so I’ve always loved spotting trends & sharing them. This website started as a result of me getting a thrill from adding undiscovered shops in Albania to Google Maps as a Local Guide. My aim is to help bridge the gap between Albanian language resources and English speakers, so everyone can find what they need and local business can grow 🌱
