Hotels are fine until 8 people are trying to coordinate breakfast, beach bags and bathroom time.
A villa gives you room to spread out, cook together and enjoy the pool without sharing it with 47 strangers. They’re especially useful for wedding parties, extended families and groups traveling along the Albanian Riviera.
One important distinction: a villa that sleeps your wedding party isn’t automatically a wedding venue. Most vacation rentals prohibit events. Always get written permission before arranging a ceremony, dinner, photographer or outside guests.

1. Fllad e Valë in Tragjas
Fllad e Valë is the strongest wedding option on this list because the current rules specifically allow parties and celebrations when guests respect the property and local quiet hours.
The villa sleeps up to 12 people across three bedrooms and has a private pool, garden, balcony, kitchen and parking. Tragjas is quieter than the main Riviera resorts, with the coast and Llogara Pass within driving distance.

2. Villa 16 in Dhërmi
Villa 16 is the heavy hitter for large groups. It sleeps 16 people in eight bedrooms, and every bedroom has its own bathroom. Nobody has to begin the wedding day by forming a shower queue.
The property also has a private pool, garden, barbecue area, two kitchens and two living rooms. Dhërmi Beach is only a short drive away.

3. The Penthouse at Santorini Residence, Drymades
The Penthouse Santorini Residence sleeps ten people across four bedrooms. Two rooms have king beds, while the other two each contain three single beds.
The big attractions are the beachfront location, sea-view veranda and private jacuzzi. There’s also a large outdoor dining table, making it useful for a relaxed breakfast or drinks with the people staying at the property. Resort-pool access may require a separate fee.

4. Luxe Green Coast Villa in Palasë
Luxe Green Coast Villa is a modern two-bedroom villa sleeping up to eight people inside Green Coast Resort.
It has a private jacuzzi, garden, balcony, kitchen and a buggy for getting around the resort. Restaurants and the beach are nearby, so guests don’t have to organize a full road trip every time someone wants an iced coffee.

5. Pacific Villa Palase
Pacific Villa Palase is a smaller Green Coast option for up to five guests.
It has two bedrooms, a private garden, outdoor dining space and direct access to the beach. A crib and outdoor play area make it one of the more practical options for families traveling with young children.

6. Siar Large Villa in Borsh
Siar Large Villa sleeps up to eight people in three bedrooms.
It has a full kitchen, balcony, shared garden and barbecue area. The Borsh location is quieter than Dhërmi or Ksamil, making it a better choice for groups that want space and scenery without being surrounded by beach clubs.

Can You Hold a Wedding at an Albanian Villa?
Sometimes, but never assume.
At the time of writing, Fllad e Valë explicitly allows respectful parties and celebrations. The other properties are better viewed as accommodation for the couple, family or wedding party unless the host approves your plans in writing.
Ask about:
- The number of outside guests allowed
- Music and quiet hours
- Photographers and other vendors
- Ceremony chairs or decorations
- Catering and alcohol
- Parking
- Cleaning charges
- Security deposits
- Rain alternatives
If the host says no events, don’t attempt to disguise a wedding as “a few friends stopping by.” Albania may be relaxed, but an angry villa owner is not the charming cultural experience you came for.
For dedicated ceremony and reception spaces, see my guide to wedding venues in Albania. Couples planning something much smaller may prefer my Albania elopement guide.
Do You Need a Car?
For Tragjas, Borsh and many properties around Palasë and Dhërmi, I’d strongly recommend one.
A car gives your group more freedom to visit beaches, buy groceries and reach restaurants without arranging several taxis. Compare options through DiscoverCars
If nobody wants to drive Albania’s coastal roads, book a private transfer through Kiwitaxi, Welcome Pickups or GetTransfer. Larger parties should confirm the amount of luggage space, especially if several people are arriving with dresses, suits or wedding equipment.

When Should You Book?
For June through September, book large villas as early as possible. Properties sleeping eight or more people are much more limited than standard apartments.
May, June and September usually offer a better balance of warm weather and manageable crowds. July and August provide the most reliable beach weather, but prices, traffic and noise all rise.
My guide to the best time to visit Albania covers the seasonal differences in more detail.
Availability, house rules and guest capacities can change, so check the current listing and confirm any wedding plans directly with the host before paying.
