You might expect the skincare selection in Albania to be fairly limited (especially outside Tirana), but you can find familiar European pharmacy brands, Korean skincare, and quite a few luxurious international brands once you know where to look.
The selection is strongest in Tirana, but several Albanian shops deliver nationwide. The bigger surprise is usually the price. Imported beauty products can cost noticeably more than they do in the US or EU, especially when they come through smaller retailers.
Here is where to look at every price point.
Affordable Skincare at Rossmann & Lala
For affordable cleansers, moisturizers, sunscreens and sensitive-skin basics, Rossmann & Lala is one of the easiest places to start.
Rossmann has branches in several Albanian cities and carries familiar German and European brands such as:
The exact selection varies by location. ISANA is Rossmann’s own budget-friendly brand and covers practically everything, including face wash, moisturizers, serums, eye creams and body care. Sebamed is another useful option if your skin is sensitive.
Rossmann also carries affordable facial and body sunscreens from Nivea and its own Sunozon range, including sensitive-skin formulas and SPF 50 options. You can browse some of the current selection on the Rossmann & Lala website.
Supermarkets and local cosmetic shops also sell basic brands like Nivea, Garnier, Dove and L’Oréal, although the skincare selection can be limited.
French Pharmacy Skincare
Albanian pharmacies are often much more glamorous than the pharmacies Americans are used to. Many sell shelves of serums, sunscreens and dermocosmetics alongside actual medicine.
Larger pharmacies are your best bet for brands such as:
You will find the widest selection in Tirana, but upscale pharmacies in Durrës, Vlorë, Sarandë and other cities often carry at least a few of the major French pharmacy brands.
If you don’t find what you need locally, try an Albanian online pharmacy. FarmaOn carries brands such as La Roche-Posay, Neostrata, MartiDerm, Lierac and Neutrogena, with delivery throughout Albania. FarmaCity has an even broader dermocosmetics section, including Nuxe, SVR, Uriage, Sesderma, Skintegra, SKIN1004 and The Ordinary.
Goldfarmaci is another good online option for CeraVe, Bioderma, La Roche-Posay, Vichy and other pharmacy favorites.
Imported pharmacy skincare isn’t always cheap here. A common product in France or Germany may suddenly become a premium purchase in Albania.
Where to Buy Korean Skincare in Albania
Korean skincare is surprisingly easy to find in Albania, especially in Tirana.
Glowy Skin
Glowy Skin is one of the biggest local destinations for Korean and Japanese beauty products. It has several physical shops in Tirana, including locations around Rruga e Dibrës, Rruga e Durrësit, Myslym Shyri and Rruga e Elbasanit. It also has locations in Shkodër and ships online.

Prices range from affordable sheet masks and cleansers to more premium serums and creams. As an example, Korean facial sunscreens commonly fall somewhere around 900 to 2,400 lek, depending on the brand and current sales.
Bassko
Durrës also has its own Korean beauty destination. Bassko has a physical shop on Bulevardi Epidamn, plus another location in the Astir area of Tirana.
Bassko carries skincare, makeup and haircare from brands such as Beauty of Joseon, Anua, Nature Republic, Benton, Kundal and Another Face. You can shop in person or order online.
Beautene
Beautene is another Albanian online beauty shop with delivery around the country. Its Korean skincare selection includes Medicube, Arencia, SKIN1004, Purito and Some By Mi.
Lush, L’Occitane and Familiar Mall Brands
Tirana has several international beauty chains for anyone who prefers familiar mall shopping.
At Tirana East Gate, you can find brands including:
Toptani Shopping Center in central Tirana has Lush and Yves Rocher, while Galeria ETC near the Pyramid has The Body Shop.
Yves Rocher also has an Albanian online shop and a store address on Rruga Sulejman Delvina. Its skincare sits somewhere between drugstore and premium pricing, with frequent sales on botanical cleansers, moisturizers and anti-aging products.
L’Occitane, Lush and The Body Shop are lovely when you want fragrant body lotions, masks, scrubs or gift sets. Just prepare yourself emotionally before checking the imported prices.
Handmade and Natural Skincare
Albania also has small artisans making natural soaps, oils, balms and herbal skincare. You can find them through Instagram, markets and local recommendations.
You will also see locally produced olive oil soaps and herbal products in souvenir shops. Some are wonderful, but “natural” does not automatically mean gentle. Check the ingredients if your skin is sensitive, particularly when products contain essential oils or added fragrance.
Affordable Skincare on Temu
Temu is another affordable option that delivers to Albania. I have personally ordered things like centella cream, salmon peptide collagen essence and dissolvable microneedle patches from the site.

What About Tretinoin?
Tretinoin availability in Albania is inconsistent. Some pharmacies stock imported creams, while others may tell you they don’t carry them. Prices and brands can also vary considerably.
If you are looking for a specific strength, show the pharmacist a photo of the packaging or write down the active ingredient and percentage. Ordering Skincare from iHerb
iHerb ships to Albania, making it useful for American skincare brands, supplements and products you can’t find locally.
The catch is customs. Albania currently exempts online purchases valued at no more than the equivalent of €22 from import duties. Orders above that threshold may be subject to VAT, customs charges or courier handling fees. Your package may also be paused while the courier asks for an invoice or proof of payment. You can check the current rules through Albanian Customs.
If DHL needs documents, you can usually send them electronically rather than travelling to the customs office in Tirana. Keep your order confirmation and payment receipt somewhere easy to find.

Should You Bring Skincare When Moving to Albania?
You don’t need to arrive with a suitcase full of moisturizer. Most everyday skincare categories are easy to cover locally, and Korean beauty fans are especially well served.
I would bring a small backup supply if you use:
- A very specific prescription product
- An uncommon active ingredient or strength
- A fragrance-free formula your skin already tolerates
- A US-only brand
- A product that is substantially cheaper at home
For everything else, Rossmann, local pharmacies, Korean skincare shops and Tirana’s international beauty stores will be suitable.
