Tirana is not a major Asian culture hub, but it does have more little global comforts than people expect.
If you are staying in Albania for a while, these things start to matter: a good sushi dinner, bubble tea, Asian-style noodles, imported snacks, skincare finds, cute lifestyle shops, and places that break up the usual Balkan food routine.
This is not a giant directory of every Asian-inspired spot in the city. Think of it as a starting point for anyone in Tirana who gets a craving for sushi, boba, Thai food, Chinese food, Korean-style beauty, or cute Asian-inspired shopping.
Most of these places are scattered around central Tirana and popular areas like Blloku, which is one of the city’s better-known neighborhoods for restaurants, cafés, boutiques, and nightlife.
Start with bubble tea
If I were making this a fun afternoon, I’d probably start with bubble tea.
Sen Tea is one of the places I’d put on the list first if you want something cute, casual, and easy to build a little Tirana wander around. Bubble tea is one of those tiny comforts that makes a city feel more global, especially if you are used to having boba shops everywhere back home.
I would treat Sen Tea as a light stop, not a whole destination. Get a drink, take a little walk, and pair it with shopping or food nearby.

Sushi and Asian-inspired restaurants
For sushi, I’d add Sushico Albania to the list. This is probably one of the more obvious options for travelers who want a polished sushi or Asian-fusion meal in Tirana.
I would not expect Tirana sushi to feel like Tokyo, New York, or Dubai. That is not really the point. The point is that sometimes you want something lighter, cleaner, and more international than grilled meat, pasta, or Balkan comfort food.
Chinese and Thai food in Tirana
If you are specifically craving Chinese or Thai food, I would look into Oriental City, Chinese Garden and Mimi Thai & Chinese. For fast casual, general Asian food, also check out KungFu Noodle Bar
These are the kinds of places that can become flavor oases in the desert if you are in Tirana for more than a few days. Sometimes you’ve eaten enough pizza and byrek and just want dumplings, noodles, fried rice, soup, or curry.
I would be honest with expectations here: Tirana does not have the huge Asian restaurant scene you’ll find in larger European capitals. A lot of the Asian food is more toned down in spice levels, and not quite as traditional.

Asian-inspired shopping and cute finds
For cute lifestyle shopping, I’d head over Ximi Vogue at Toptani mall and Raven Store in Blloku.
Ximi Vogue is the kind of place I’d check for cute accessories, home items, beauty tools, stationery, little gifts, and fun everyday things. If you like stores that feel playful, colorful, and Asian-inspired, it is worth a look. It’s quite similar to a Miniso.
Raven Store – Anime Jewelry Store & Café is also worth adding for anime lovers, books, tarot cards, jewelry, and matcha drinks.

Try this if: you like cute lifestyle shops, accessories, gifts, beauty tools, stationery, or small home finds.
Skincare and beauty finds
For beauty lovers, I’d add Glowy Skin.
Tirana is not Seoul, and I would not come expecting endless K-beauty stores on every corner. But if you love skincare, it is still worth knowing where to look. Glowy is a good place to check for skincare, beauty products, masks, and possibly Korean or Asian-inspired beauty trends, depending on what they are currently carrying.
This is especially useful for long-stay travelers. When you are abroad for a while, your tiny routines matter. Finding a good cleanser, sunscreen, sheet mask, or hydrating product can make a place feel more comfortable.

Practical tips before you go
Before wandering around Tirana, I’d set up an eSIM so you can check maps, reviews, and opening hours without relying on café Wi-Fi.
A few things to check for each place:
